Cocoon to Butterfly
After taking poetry seriously, I met many artists on the way. Once we realise, touch of Art upon us. Whence, we never know how to mould it into our careers.
The World where we live in, neither encourages nor pays for your works, it need guys to finish tasks like Prepare their budgets, do client presentations, make sales calls, manage their shop floors, update them on quarterly results, program their solutions, automate their processes, so on and so forth of many boring tasks. A Job with a Good brand, pays you a decent salary and Keeps you at a good status among your neighbours and classmates and most important, let you pay your rent, transport charges, food (includes Burger & Pepsi), Get a Credit Card, Pay Home loan or Car loan and bonus (Kids School fees).
Am not sure, if ever someone done a Research study to get the population of these Creative minds “Dentists turned Artists writing Novels on weekends” count. But, I would definitely believe. It would be in the higher side of nearly 20 % to 25 % of the normal set. Now, the challenge is, how to make them contribute best to the world of Art. A simple design, would suffice. “80 % simple Accountant, 20 % Artist”
Most time spent as Simple Accountant makes all the difference in Life. Simple, simply means, a Job that is lenient, let you leave office early (max by 5 PM, why ? you get time to see beautiful sunset), where it let you take more leisure (like a Govt. job or decent clerical roles). By night, you become like a Batman. Very theatrical and musical, in your works.
I hope, this may bring better soul to a song and with fixed basic pay of Day job, it keeps you live with a gentle smile.
Thus making each unto a fine Butterfly.
